CELEBRITY chef Ainsley Harriott has bizarrely compared Manchester United to “overcooked scrambled eggs”.
The Red Devils are enduring a nightmare start to the season and boss Erik ten Hag is in danger of losing his job.
His recipe for success has been slammed by pundits, with his tactics and new signings questioned.
United’s recent 0-0 draw with Aston Villa saw them slip to 14th in the table after eight games, which is their worst-ever start.
And in a bizarre clip posted by the BBC, legendary chef Harriott was asked what food the Red Devils are like.
The Ready Steady Cook presenter hilariously stuck the knife in, saying: “I think it would be overcooked scrambled eggs.

A United fan joked: “Get him in we need change.”
More reacted: “We have been cooked.”
What Ten Hag brings to the table has been discussed in a meeting between club chiefs like Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Joel Glazer in London today.
The manager is confident he will not be axed and will take charge of his team against Brentford on October 19 after the international break.
