DONNY VAN DE BEEK’S agent claims Manchester United are blocking a move to another Premier League club.
Van de Beek, 27, joined United in 2020 following a £40million deal with Ajax but has not lived up to expectations since.
The playmaker has fallen out of favour and has been spending the second half of the season out on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt where he has also failed to stand out.
Eintracht have an option to buy the Netherlands international this summer for £9.5m but won’t trigger that clause.
Van de Beek has reunited with his former agent Guido Albers, who confirmed his client will be returning to the Red Devils in June.
Albers shed some light on the attacking midfielder’s future by confirming that he is looking for a move to either LaLiga, Serie A or Ligue 1.

The Dutch ace’s rep is adamant there will be no deal with another Prem club because the United are refusing to sell to their competition even though they have no plans for him.
The Manchester giants previously loaned the versatile midfielder out to Everton but are not keen on another similar deal.
This is not the first time United get in the way of a deal involving Van de Beek as they also scrapped a move to Real Sociedad this summer because manager Erik ten Hag ultimately decided to keep him.
It has also been revealed that Van de Beek will not be returning to Ajax.

Albers told ESPN’s Goedemorgen Eredivisie: “I think that’s wonderful, he has been away from me for a while.
“For me it is a very nice moment in his career to pick it up again. We said together, ‘Back to basics’.
“He’s lost that a bit in recent years. He is hungry and eager to please. I came to an agreement with Frankfurt for him.
“Frankfurt still had an option until June 30, which they will not exercise. Officially he is now going back to Manchester United and I am now in discussions with him.
“Donny does not want to stay in the Premier League, also because United do not want that. That is not a good choice for him.
“He needs to return to a club that plays good football. In any case, he will not return to Ajax.
“My preference was to look in Spain, Italy or France. If I could get him in Spain or Italy that would be fantastic, at a club where he will play as a No10 like he played at Ajax.
“You see that the Dutch are successful in a certain way in Spanish or Italian football.
“He was very close to a transfer to Real Sociedad last summer. That was cancelled at the last minute because Erik ten Hag wanted to keep him until the last minute. Then he ended up at Frankfurt.
