ERLING HAALAND demolished Premier League new boys Ipswich with a hat-trick as the champions continued their defence in style.
There was early hope for Kieran McKenna’s men when Sammie Szmodics poked the ball under Ederson to put them in front after just seven minutes.
But there joy was short-lived as Haaland converted a penalty just five minutes later.
And then the floodgates opened as Haaland got his second and De Bruyne added a third within the blink of an eye.
Ipswich stayed in the game before the Norwegian goal machine completed his hat-trick just before the final whistle.
