FANS have been left in hysterics after Ligue 1 announced its new title sponsor.
From next season, the division will be called the “Ligue 1 McDonald’s”.
It sees French football stick with the tasty theme as the league is currently sponsored by Uber Eats.
McDonald’s have agreed a three-year deal with chiefs, meaning they will partner it until the 2027/28 campaign.
Reports suggest the agreement is worth £17million-a-year.
The announcement was made by the French FA, with the Ligue 1 trophy placed outside one of their fast-food restaurants.
