LUKE LITTLER watched Manchester United’s 2-1 FA Cup final win over Man City at home “for my own safety” after concerns he would be mobbed by fans.
The teenage sensation is a major United fan and had previously said he was going to Wembley for Saturday’s clash with Man City.
Littler was already in the capital this week for the Prem Darts final.
He beat Michael Smith and Luke Humphries to win the trophy on his maiden appearance.
And United supporter Littler was expected to rock up at Wembley to potentially celebrate a second piece of silverware.
However, just moments before kick-off, the 17-year-old revealed he was not at the home of English football for the showpiece event.

Instead, Littler made a late call to watch the game in his gaffe amid fears about being mobbed en route by fans.
And the superstar, who met several United stars at Carrington in January, told fans via Instagram Stories that he had made the decision “for his own safety.”
Posting a picture of the game on his television, Littler said: “At home watching the game for my own safety today, YANITED.”
Littler’s decision came just days after claiming he would be at Wembley in person after watching last year’s final at home too.

Littler said: “I’ll obviously get stopped for pictures and everything.
“I’ll stop for a few but people have got to realise I have got to get on with my day as well.
“I just want to sit down and hopefully watch United win the trophy.
“I’m confident. I watched the final last year at home on the telly but now I have got the opportunity to watch it in person.”
After relaxing for the weekend, Littler heads to New York for the US Darts Masters.
He will then enjoy a holiday in Orlando, Florida, with his family.
Littler added: “I just want to go to the theme parks and have fun. It has been a crazy time. But I don’t reflect on it that much.
“I have been twice before to Orlando. Obviously, I went to Wrestlemania — that’s where my walk-out song came from.”
