LIVERPOOL youngster Luca Furnell-Gill has been slapped with a three-match ban for violent conduct.
The 17-year-old defender admitted to a disciplinary charge after elbowing and throwing a punch at an opponent during a recent match.
Furnell-Gill clashed with Manchester United’s Ethan Wheatley during their Under-18 Premier League encounter on January 30.
Footage of the incident went viral on social media after being captured on camera during the match at United’s Carrington base.
The FA later charged Furnell-Gill with misconduct after the video evidence backed up the allegations of violent conduct.
He is now serving a three-match ban, having already missed Liverpool under-18s’ last four fixtures.

According to the Liverpool Echo, Reds academy director Alex Inglethorpe has since apologised to his United counterparts.
Meanwhile, Furnell-Gill is said to have expressed his remorse for his actions.
The 17-year-old joined Liverpool’s academy at under-15 level from Preston.
