LIONEL MESSI and Luis Suarez’s sons played together for the first time for Inter Miami.

Thiago Messi, 12, wore the iconic No10 shirt of his father, and produced a pass the Barcelona legend would have been proud of.

Thiago was denied an assist but his close friend Benjamin Suarez, son of Luis Suarez, did manage to get on the scoresheet.

Messi’s wife Antonella watched on from the stands, with Inter Miami also facing Newell’s Old Boys, where Messi came through as a youngster.
They lost that clash 1-0 but bounced back against Penarol, thanks in part to Messi and Suarez Jr.
The boys were competing in the Newell’s Cup for Inter Miami in the tenth edition of the youth tournament, which involved eight clubs from North and South America.
