On paper, you’re going to have some job topping Wilshere’s side (3-4-3), with no less than four Arsenal stars in his XI!

He’s not forgotten his English roots though, and it’s Three Lions stopper Jordan Pickford (£4m) who gets the nod between the sticks.

England team-mate Kyle Walker (£4m) is joined by the first of the Gunners quartet in French star William Saliba (£4.5m), who is amongst the most expensive defenders in the game.

The pair are joined at the back by Milan Skriniar (£2.5m) who is a cheaper option. But with Slovakia’s group containing Belgium, Ukraine and Romania, it very much looks a shrewd selection at a bargain price.

Back to Arsenal (and England) and Bukayo Saka (£6.5m) and Declan Rice (£3m) made the cut and are joined by Dutchman Frenkie de Jong (£.5m) and Nicolò Barella (£4m) of Italy.

Onto the front three and Wilshere has splashed the cash on new Real Madrid superstar Kylian Mbappe (£7.5m), who won the World Cup Golden Boot two years ago and looks set for another good run in here.

Romelu Lukaku (£5.5m) joins him up top, alongside the final of the Arsenal contingent in Kai Havertz (£4.5m) who looks set to lead the German front line in their home tournament.
