ALVARO MORATA’S whirlwind romance with Alice Campello is over after seven years together.
The former Chelsea striker revealed they had taken the “painful decision” to split, stating they still had a great respect for one another.
The couple got married in 2018 – just eight months after connecting on social media.
Alice revealed to The Sun that she initially rejected Morata’s approaches but she was quickly won over by his gestures.
That included the striker driving eight hours to meet her family before returning to Turin as he had to train with Juventus.
Fast forward a few months and Morata was playing for Real Madrid, and he popped the question during a magic show.

Alice stayed by his side ever since, following him to Chelsea before moving back to Madrid and Juventus.
She was also snapped alongside the 31-year-old after he won the Euros with Spain in Berlin in July.
But she will not be with Morata as he embarks on a new chapter with AC Milan following his £11million move from Atletico Madrid.
The pair have ended their marriage six years after tying the knot in a glitzy bash in Venice, where Alice is from.

Alice is a model who has worked with Dior and Chanel, while she has launched her own brand of bags called Avril Gau.
She has four children with Morata – twins, Alessandro and Leonardo, six, as well as Edoardo, three, and Bella, one.
Alice suffered complications during that pregnancy and ended up in intensive care after the birth.
Ahead of the birth Alice decided to prank Morata by faking her waters breaking.
After winning the Euros Morata and Alice spent a “beautiful night” with David and Victoria Beckham.
The pair seemed very much together, just as they were after the final as Morata ran to the stands to kiss his wife.
But just a few weeks later they confirmed their break-up, with Morata saying: “After a period of reflection, Alice and I have taken the decision to take separate paths.
“”It was a marvellous relationship with mutual respect in which we have loved and helped each other so much.
“We have had some wonderful years and have our four children to show for it, which is without doubt the best thing we have ever done.
“It is a painful decision, after which we ask for respect and empathy.
“Please don’t invent any rumours, because I repeat – there have been no breaches of trust, just a lot of continuous misunderstandings that have little by little worn things down.
“Alice will always have a special place in my heart and the time that we have spent together has been incredible and a great learning experience.”
