TNT SPORTS presenter Lynsey Hipgrave was left thoroughly embarrassed and instantly regretted her closing remarks following Newcastle’s thrilling win over West Ham.
Eddie Howe’s men fought back from 3-1 down to seal a dramatic 4-3 victory on Saturday lunchtime.
And die-hard Toon fan Hipgrave, 44, appeared giddy during the post-match analysis as she closed out the show in hilarious fashion.
She said: “I started the day on the roof of St James’ Park, I didn’t think my day could get any more dramatic than that.”
After pundit Joe Cole then joked about her wild celebrations, she added: “I might finish it [the day] on my back after a few beers later with my dad.”
Hipgrave then broke out into laughter and could not contain herself as Cole and Owen Hargreaves also burst into hysterics.

As she then gathered herself to finish off the show, she added: “I shouldn’t have said that.”
And as Hipgrave recovered, Cole interrupted to jokingly say: “I’m not saying nothing, I’m not saying nothing.”
Before Hipgrave looked to the sky and responded: “It came out wrong, it came out wrong.”
She then concluded the broadcast by adding: “Have a happy Easter everyone. I’m going, bye.”

The trio started laughing again just before the cameras cut away, with Hipgrave putting her head in her hands as she slumped on the desk.
Reacting to the clip on social media, one person joked: “Brilliant 😂😂😂😂 I like how she’s realised & just rolled with it 🙈😂.”
While another added: “Taxi for Hipgrave 🚕 😂.”
A third replied: “That is not what I expected her to come out with at all 🤣.”
And a fourth responded: “That’s what Newcastle winning means to a Geordie, classic 😂😂.”
