Video online showed a huge line of fans waiting patiently to get inside the club shop over an hour before it had even opened for the kit drop.

While one fan even told The Chronicle that they had been waiting outside the stadium from midnight – some EIGHT HOURS before the launch.

The Newcastle faithful are excited to return to kits made by Adidas after periods with their shirts being designed by Puma and Castore in recent years.

Fans already have nostalgia around the old Adidas kits that the club wore between 1995 and 2010.
