HARRY REDKNAPP had his say on the Frank Lampard vs Paul Scholes debate of who the better midfielder was.
In a controversial game the former football boss picked who he thinks is the best footballer of all time.
Redknapp will manage Team England at Soccer Aid on June 9 and his backroom staff includes Frank Lampard, Robbie Williams and David Seaman.
Gary Cahill, Jermain Defoe, Jack Wilshere are among the name he will manage along with a host of other big names such as Sir Mo Farah, Stuart Broad and Steven Bartlett.
And on Soccer Aid’s social media, Redknapp played “Winner Stays On” where he was given the option of two players and had to stick to one until a better one appeared on the screen.
To start off, the former Tottenham manager instantly crushed the debate of Scholes vs Lampard to pick the former Man Utd legend as the better midfielder.

Scholes made 718 caps over a 18-year stint at United which saw him 25 trophies including the historic treble in the 1998-99 season.
While Frank Lampard made 648 appearances for Chelsea over an 11 year period where he won 13 trophies including four FA Cups and three Premier Leagues.
But Scholes was quickly snubbed for the 2000 Ballon d’Or winner Luis Figo.
However Redknapp showed his admiration for against Wayne Rooney who was picked over the Real Madrid and Barcelona icon.

The 77-year-old even picked Rooney over Ronaldinho, which angered many fans who regard the legend as one of the greatest to play the game, and Eric Cantona.
As one fan said: “Rooney has to be the most overated English footballer of all time.”
While another added: “Rooney over Ronaldhino is crazyyy.”
A third then put: “Rooney over Ronaldhino come on Harry.”
Redknapp never had the chance to coach Rooney during his 34-year management career.
But the England legend was eventually dropped by Zinedine Zidane, who Redknapp even picked over his son Jamie.
