But he has never won team silverware in his career which has taken him from Tottenham to Bayern Munich.

Kane, who has 406 strikes in 642 career games — including 66 goals for his country — can end the nation’s 58 years of hurt and his 15-year hunt for a title with victory over Spain in the final.

The England skipper, 30, said: “Would I swap all the top-scorer trophies for the Euros? Yeah, for sure.

“No question, I would swap everything I’ve done in my career to have a special night and a win.

“It’s no secret I haven’t won a team trophy and every year that goes by you’re more motivated to change that.

“I have the opportunity to win one of the biggest trophies you could ever win and to make history with my nation.

“I’m extremely proud to be English. I’m determined to make it a special night.”

Captain Kane came closest to winning silverware at the last Euros final three years, when England lost 3-2 on penalties to Italy at Wembley.

Walking past the trophy on home turf is providing extra motivation for the 2018 World Cup Golden Boot winner.

Kane said: “It was a tough finish at the last Euros but there’s extra fire in the belly to make sure this one goes our way.

England fans gush ‘my manager’ as incredible footage emerges of Southgate going wild after reaching Euro 2024 final

“I know what it would mean to me and our country if we won. We’ll give it all we’ve got.”

Meanwhile, boss Gareth Southgate hopes England can one step further than the last Euros and finally secure a historic win.

He said: “I’m not a believer in fairytales – but I am a believer in dreams. Fate, the run we’ve had, the late goals and penalties doesn’t equate to it being ‘our moment’. We have to now make it happen.

“We have to get this trophy to get the respect of the rest of the football world. I travelled to World Cups and European Championships watching as an observer and on the highlights on the big screens before games we weren’t in them. They only showed the finals and the big games.

“We always had high expectations but they didn’t match where we were performance-wise. We have now.

“Tomorrow, I don’t have any fear of what might happen because I’ve been through everything. I want my players to feel that fearlessness. If we’re not afraid to lose, it gives us a better chance of winning.”
