JACK STEPHENS had Southampton fans pulling out their hair after he tried to do the same to Marc Cucurella’s.
The Saints were down 2-1 to Chelsea when the defender was involved in a penalty box clash with Cucurella.
And replays revealed he pulled on the Spanish left-back’s hair – causing Cucurella to fall to the ground.
Upon VAR replays, Tony Harrington was left with no choice but to show the Southampton captain red.
And one Saints fan fumed: “Strip him of the club captaincy. Ridiculous.”
Another raged: “Jack Stephens once again getting himself sent off? Pathetic excuse of a captain.”
