FURIOUS Pep Guardiola KICKED a chair over – after his Manchester City team went mad over a stunning Arsenal equaliser.
Riccardo Calafiori’s long-range swerver cancelled out Erling Haaland’s opener in a dramatic first quarter of Sunday’s Prem clash.
And as City players protested over the quick free-kick that led to Calafiori’s strike, Guardiola joined in their frustration.
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is fuming and gesticulating wildly at his backroom team. They were caught completely off guard there but whether Guardiola is furious with his players or the officials is not clear.
Arsenal have gone from being behind and under severe pressure to level and with City losing Rodri. What a change in mood.
It’s getting very heated out there and referee Michael Oliver has a job on his hands.
Pep Guardiola was raging at that Arsenal goal.
He karate kicked his own seat in anger at Manchester City being caught out by that quick free-kick.
He was yelling at fourth official Andy Madley as the Gunners players celebrated close by.
I suspect he will have something to say about that after the game.
