Fulham 2 Leicester 1: Former Arsenal stars Emile Smith Rowe and Alex Iwobi combine to get Cottagers off the mark


EX-ARSENAL duo Emile Smith Rowe and Alex Iwobi teamed up to get Fulham off the mark in the Premier League.

The Cottagers conceded late on against Manchester United to lose the curtain-raiser.

But they beat Leicester to seal all three points – as Steve Cooper’s wait for a first win as Foxes boss goes on.

Smith Rowe and Iwobi both got in down the left channel for Fulham and fired past Mads Hermansen – either side of Wout Faes’ equaliser.

The Belgian’s header initially got ruled out for offside but after a VAR review, Jamie Vardy was cleared of any interference.
