FRANK LAMPARD hilariously produced his trademark “face transition” when handing Harry Kane his commemorative 100th England cap.
The Chelsea legend, 46, who played 106 games for the Three Lions, presented skipper Kane with the golden memento before England’s clash with Finland at Wembley on Tuesday night.
Kane, who went on to score both goals in a 2-0 win, becomes the 10th man to reach triple figures for England, joining Lampard and eight more of the country’s greatest players.
Yet it was the Blues icon’s face that went viral during the exchange with Kane.
Lampard has garnered a reputation for turning a smile into a serious face in a matter of seconds.
And that was on display yet again at Wembley as he went from laughing with Kane to sternly handing him the cap.

Reacting to the clip, one fan said: “The GOAT of facial transitions.”
While another added: “A magnificent Lampardian transition here. Textbook.”
A third replied: “Hahaha, this one is brilliant 😆. It’s like he’s passing him a hot plate: ‘Nice one mate, this pie is delicious. Careful though, it’s hot’.”
And a fourth responded: “Still got it!”

Lampard, who was on the end of a brutal joke from Gary Lineker in the summer, has previously spoken about the viral meme he has become known for.
Speaking on Stick to Football earlier this year, he said: “I’ve tried to stop it now.
“My daughter sent it to me ages ago – the meme or whatever you call it.
“Now I’ve seen it, I can’t unsee it. But I’ve done a few press conferences where you do it [smiles] and I’ve gone ‘oh s*** I’ve done it. Can’t help it.”
Harry Kane reveals his favourite England goals
HARRY KANE is already England’s all-time record goalscorer.
But the Three Lions skipper will NOT be stopping there.
To mark his 100th cap for his country, Kane spoke to SunSport’s CHARLIE WYETT about some of his special England goals….
FIRST ENGLAND GOAL
“My debut v Lithuania. March 2015.
“There was a lot of talk in the build-up to that camp because I was playing well for Spurs.
“I got a great reception and within a couple of minutes I scored a goal.
“I don’t think I could have dreamed it any better.
“My friends and family were there. That was a really special night.”
FAVOURITE ENGLAND GOAL
“It’s between two, for me.
“Against Germany, the one at Wembley in Euro 2020.
“Also, the header against Tunisia at the World Cup in 2018.
“That moment of scoring a last-minute winner at my first World Cup was special.”
BEST ENGLAND GOAL
“The one I scored in Poland away in a World Cup qualifier in 2021. It was from 25 yards.”
(Kane picked up the ball from Kyle Walker, advanced towards goal and put his foot through it.)
“It kind of drifted away and it was a good strike, probably my furthest-out goal for England.”
