CURTIS DAVIES has made international football history by becoming the oldest player to score on his competitive debut.
The 39-year-old defender is a Premier League cult hero following top-flight spells with West Brom, Aston Villa, Birmingham and Hull.
Davies hit the opening goal for Sierra Leone in a 2-1 win over Djibouti on Wednesday.

But this week’s game was his competitive debut and he is said to be the oldest international debutant to score in a World Cup qualifier.
While Davies was born in east London his dad Eugene was born and raised in Sierra Leone.
