ITALIAN side Napoli want to sign Spurs’ forgotten centre-half Radu Dragusin.
The Serie A club were after the Romanian defender, 22, before his £21.5million move to Tottenham in the January window and will try again.
Spurs do not want to sell yet but would ask as much as £40m.
He is concerned about his future and Napoli would appeal as they could offer first-team football.
Dragusin has played just 244 minutes for Spurs since his January move, with Mickey van de Ven and Cristian Romero ahead of him in the pecking order.
That has led his agent Florin Manea to criticise Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou, suggesting Dragusin could solve their defensive woes.

He said: “The coach said many times he does not want to play with a three-man defence, evidently he knows best.
“But Tottenham concede a ton of goals. Playing with three gives more security.
“I also think Tottenham concede a lot of goals from set plays, so Dragusin would be very helpful due to his power in the air.
“He used to win all the headers at Genoa.”

Dragusin’s agent then went one further by warning he might have to find a new club for the defender if he is not given game time.
Manea continued: “I can say that if Postecoglou told Dragusin that he is only considered an alternative to the other centre-backs, then he would not stay just to sit on the bench.
“If he doesn’t play, then we have to think about other solutions.”
