Footballers sent off after one player ‘rides the other like a horse’ before on-pitch bust-up

TWO Brazilian footballers were sent off after one bizarrely “rode” another “like a horse”.

The strange dismissal occurred during a second-tier state-level match in Brazil between Baraunas and America-RN.

Baraunas forward Leo Bahia was beaten to the ball by America-RN defender Rafael Jansen
The swing of Bahia’s boot turned into him climbing onto Jansen’s back
He then proceeded to balance on the defender’s back for several seconds
Jansen got up and pushed Bahia as both players were sent off

Baraunas attacker Leo Bahia was beaten to the ball by America defender Rafael Jansen, before all hell broke loose.

Bahia, 32, turned his swing and miss of the ball into a jump as he leapt onto Jansen’s back.

He then stayed balanced in the baffling position for several seconds, before Jansen eventually tipped him onto the floor.

This led to both sets of players coming together in an aggressive altercation.

And Jansen was quick to spring straight up from the floor and furiously shove Bahia.

Both players were sent off by the referee as the two sides played out a goalless draw with 10 men each.

Portuguese media have described the incident as Bahia riding Jansen like “a little horse”.

And those on social media were quick to react to the scene.
