FLAMENGO have become the first football club to score 13,000 official goals.
The Brazilian giants reached the tally in a 3-0 win over Nova Iguacu on Saturday.
Founded in 1911, Flamengo have since won 37 state championships, seven Brazilian titles and lifted the Copa Libertadores three times.
The Scarlet-Blacks are also one of two clubs to have never been relegated from the Brazilian top flight.
Their latest match has now brought more history after winning their state championship final first leg.
Two-goal hero Pedro broke the record with his second goal as he tapped home from close range to take the club’s overall tally in official matches to 13,000.

The strike was Pedro’s 113th for the club, who boast a host of footballing legends and Premier League stars amongst their ex-players.
Brazil icon Zico is the club’s all-time top scorer with 509 goals in 732 appearances.
Meanwhile, the historic strike has been dubbed “Gol Zagallo” by Flamengo, in honour of club legend Mario Zagallo.
The former manager, who passed away in January aged 92, won three World Cups with Brazil as a player and coach.

Flamengo fans have also watched the likes of Romario and Adriano star for their club in the past.
Real Madrid winger Vinicius Jr. also scored 10 times for Flamengo before moving to Spain as an 18-year-old.
West Ham star Lucas Paqueta has also featured for the club along with ex-QPR goalkeeper Julio Cesar.
