Phil plans to take up fishing full-time when he retires from football

It is set in 2.5 acres and Phil has already posted pictures of him and eldest son Ronnie, known as El Wey or The Dude by South American fans, fishing together.

He captioned one: “Late summer nights by the lake.”

A source said: “Everyone knows Phil loves his fishing so it has always been a dream of his to have a home with its own lake so he can fish in peace and quiet and also teach Ronnie the skills he needs to be a successful angler.

“They can set their kit up and leave it while they pop back into the house to get some food, or go to bed and leave it all there for the morning. Phil is loving it.”
