MANCHESTER UNITED loanee Facundo Pellistri has been slammed for Granada’s 7-0 defeat to Girona.
The 22-year-old spent the second half of the season on loan at the La Liga side who have now been relegated from the first tier.
Pellistri – who relocated to Spain at the beginning of the year to secure more playing time – was sent off for two yellow cards.
Jose Ramon Sandoval’s team couldn’t maintain their spot in the league and ended the season in the 19th spot.
And after falling at the wrong end of a seven goal scoreline to Girona on Saturday, fans have blamed Pellistri’s home club for the performance.
One fan said: “Facundo Pellistri cost them this amount of goals, this is Manchester United heritage.”

United have conceded their most amount of goals this season (58) while also ending the season in their worst placed finish (8th).
It is the lowest the club have EVER finished in the Premier League since its inception in 1992.
The lowly position has overtaken the 7th placed finish that the club slumped to in 2014, initially under David Moyes in the season after Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement.
That meant no Europe – unless they win at Wembley today against Manchester City.

Meanwhile Pellistri’s initial impact was promising, as he scored a goal and provided an assist in a 3-3 draw against Barcelona, but things took a different turn afterward.
His recent game against Sevilla saw the right winger only touch the ball 29 times across the game.
He made a total 15 appearances and only scored two goals.
Alongside this the club have been through three managers this term due to the team’s poor performance.
