MANCHESTER UNITED fans went into meltdown amid claims their FA Cup final line-up was leaked.
But in a twist worthy of a Wembley showpiece the team that was doing the rounds proved to be incorrect.
Now, some fans are even saying the leak was a ploy orchestrated by Erik ten Hag to confuse Manchester City.
Team news being revealed ahead of time has been a problem for United this season.
So fans were fuming when it was suggested Rasmus Hojlund, who started the last two matches on the bench, would play ahead of Marcus Rashford.
It was also claimed that Sofyan Amrabat got the nod over Casemiro.

United influencer Mark Goldbridge claimed to have seen the XI YESTERDAY.
He wrote: “Leaking the team the night before is a bit week tbh (to be honest).
“Yes players are leaking it but doesn’t mean journalists have to.
“Many of us know the leaked one since yesterday lunchtime but understand it’s a cup final ffs.”

But United’s official team announcement featured Rashford and Amrabat – meaning the leaks were either false or a deliberate red herring.
One fan tweeted: “Ten Hag got his Aura back.”
Another added: “Did ten hag fake a lineup???”
A third posted: “Ten Hag putting out one last pump fake before he goes out.”
Casemiro was meant to be on the bench today but was replaced by Willy Kambwala in a dramatic late twist.
United face an uphill task this afternoon against the Premier League champions.
But it is unlikely that veteran boss Pep Guardiola will be knocked out of stride by a social media line-up.
And Ten Hag is expected to lose his job even if he wins this afternoon.
