BRIGHTON managed just a single goal in all of April – and it wasn’t even scored by their own player.
The Seagulls failed to win any of their matches in April, losing four and drawing against Burnley.
They fell behind in that game before keeper Arijanet Muric accidently conceded an own goal after misscontrolling the ball.
Fans were quick to note that it was Brighton’s only goal in April as one said: Following Brighton’s 3-0 loss at Bournemouth today, this own goal at Burnley is the only goal the Seagulls managed to score in the entire month of April.”
Another joked: “Arijanet Muric has won Brighton’s goal of the month award for April as its the only goal they have scored.”
One added: “Brighton only scored one goal in April. Ladies and gentlemen, their goal of the month.”
