Despite the amazing performance, Keane, 52, wasn’t happy with the star striker’s behaviour when he was substituted in the second half and described him as a “spoilt brat”.

This comes after the outspoken Manchester United legend previously compared the Norway international to a League Two player after a barren spell despite him being the Premier League’s top goalscorer.

Keane said on Sky Sports: “We saw Haaland yesterday being brought off, not too happy, behaving like a spoilt brat.

“I think when you have the spat as well with the manager and obviously your star man, it doesn’t help that results aren’t going your way.

“But because they win the game, he scores goals, it’s almost forgotten about.”

Haaland posted on Instagram for the first time after Keane’s latest rant as he issued a story showing him enjoying some peace and quiet at a beach.

The Norwegian accompanied his post with the following caption: “Peace.”

There is no indication that this was a response to Keane’s recent comments.

And the City star has shown he doesn’t pay attention to any sort of negativity when he was asked about the pundit’s previous remarks when he compared him to a fourth-tier player.

Haaland issued one of his signature short responses after the Wolves games as he said: “I don’t care about that man.”

Keane’s feud with the Haaland family began all the way back in 2001 when he hit Alfe Inge Haaland, Erling’s father, with a horror tackle.

That was in response to an incident four years earlier when Haaland Snr accusing Keane of feigning injury when in fact he’d ruptured his cruciate ligament.
