ENGLAND’S cursed streak on ITV ploughed on after Gareth Southgate’s side were held to a uninspiring goalless draw with Slovenia.
And it’s not good news for the Three Lions’ last-16 showdown on Sunday – as the match will again be broadcast on ITV at 5pm.
This means the England will have to overcome the dreaded ITV voodoo if they are to advance to the last eight.
England’s opponents have not been confirmed, only that they will play the third place team from Group D, E or F.
But it will most likely be the Netherlands, who finished Group D in third place following their 3-2 defeat to group winners Austria on Tuesday.
As it stands, any of Slovakia, Ukraine, Romania or Belgium could finish third in Group E – they all have three points after three games.

If England win their last-16 tie, they would then play the winners of Switzerland and Italy in the quarter-final in Dusseldorf on July 6.
And to make matters worse the clash will be shown live on ITV – a broadcaster England have struggled on in major tournaments.
England have played on ITV 30 times in major tournaments since 1998, winning just seven.
They have drawn 13 and lost 10 on the channel, including the 2022 World Cup quarter-final against France.

The BBC on the other hand boast a far better record, and showed England’s 3-0 win over Wales and 6-2 victory over Iran in Qatar.
The broadcaster also aired England’s first two Euros games, including the 1-0 win over Serbia.
Though perhaps more crucially for England, they will avoid Germany, France, Portugal and Spain until the semi-final stage.
