ARSENAL fans were left bitterly frustrated after they suffered ANOTHER delay to a Women’s Super League fixture.
Jonas Eidevall’s side pushed back their London derby with Chelsea by 30 minutes earlier this month after bringing the wrong COLOUR SOCKS to the game.
They were then forced to purchase black socks from Chelsea’s megastore, before they suffered a 3-1 defeat.
Now they have endured yet another delay due to travel disruption ahead of their trip to Aston Villa.
The WSL giants were scheduled to kick off at 6.45pm, but that was pushed back to 7.30pm because of Arsenal’s late arrival time.
A statement read: “We can confirm that today’s Barclays Women’s Super League fixture between Aston Villa and Arsenal will now kick off at 7.30pm.

“This decision has been taken due to travel disruption affecting our arrival time.
“We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused to supporters by the late change in timings.”
Despite the explanation, some fans were quick to joke it could have been another sock issue, while others ripped into them delaying a second consecutive match.
One social media user said: “Villa club shop fresh out of socks, so the search had to be widened, delaying arrival?”
