Danilo injury updates: Nottingham Forest vs Bournemouth STOPPED after horror leg break – latest


NOTTINGHAM FOREST are up against Bournemouth in the Premier League but Forest man Danilo has broken his leg early in the game.

The Brazilian challenged for a header in the middle of the park and injured his leg on the way down.

Players looked distraught and turned away as the game was stopped for seven minutes while sheets were used to cover the treatment by medics.

    Nottingham Forest’s game with Bournemouth was halted for eight minutes following a serious injury to Forest midfielder Danilo.

    There are fears the Brazilian midfielder may have suffered a season-ending injury after he was involved in a sickening collision with Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo.

    The pair clashed in mid-air and it immediately became clear Danilo was badly hurt as he landed with a sickening thud.

    Paramedics raced to the scene and his Nottingham Forest teammates were visibly upset as they tried to comfort him.

    As Forest players were ushered to the touchline, medics used flags to screen Danilo from view as Forest’s medical staff attended to him.

    After eight minutes Danilo was finally strapped into a stretcher and, with his left leg immobilised, left the field to warm applause as Forest fans chanted his name.
