HANSI FLICK is reportedly learning Spanish to prepare for an offer to manage Barcelona.
The former Bayern Munich manager is understood to be waiting for the chance to replace Xavi.
Flick is out of work after being sacked by Germany in September following just under two years in charge.
Meanwhile, Xavi announced last month he will step down as Barca boss at the end of the season.
According to Bild, Flick is currently learning Spanish in anticipation of an approach from Barcelona.
The report adds he is interested in starting a project in La Liga, with the Barca job appealing to him as a he looks for a new challenge from the start of next season.

Prior to his spell with the national team, Flick was in charge of Bayern from 2019 to 2021.
During that time, he won seven major trophies, including the treble in 2020.
The 58-year-old was also the assistant manager to Joachim Low as Germany won the World Cup in 2014.
Flick faces competition from several candidates to replace Xavi, though.

Reports in Spain also claim Barca president Joan Laporta has been in contact with former manager Frank Rijkaard.
