BETA SQUAD were forced to abandon their charity match against AMP after fans stormed the pitch.
The YouTube charity match was heading for a penalty shoot-out with the score tied at 6-6 entering stoppage time.
But as the clock hit 90 fans began to enter the field of play at Selhurst Park.
Stewards tried in vain to stop the first pitch invaders, and after witnessing their success other supporters became emboldened and followed suit.
Fans began pouring onto the pitch in their hundreds and play was halted.
The match officials looked helpless as the referee directed the players over to the dugouts.

There were just minutes left of stoppage time but after failing to clear the pitch Beta Squad and AMP were left with no choice but to abandon the match.
Viewers watching on from home were annoyed by the actions of supporters in the stadium and did not hold back with their criticism.
One said: “Beta Squad vs AMP soccer match was ruined by fans storming the field. Would have finished with a penalty shoot out but these children had to ruin it. Absolute cringe.”
Another added: “Actually ruined it bro I wanted to see the penalty shootout. It’s 5am right now I stayed up all night for this.”

A mystery player who had reportedly played in the Premier League and Champions League was the talk of social media during the match.
And Mark Goldbridge also caused a stir by storming down the tunnel mid-match while manager of Beta Squad – only to get changed into his kit and play.
