BBC cameras catch moment fan taunts Jude Bellingham with cheeky gesture during England’s clash against Switzerland

JUDE BELLINGHAM was on the receiving end of a trolling from a Switzerland fan in England’s Euro 2024 quarter-final.

Gareth Southgate’s troops put on an improved display in the first half of the quarter-final clash in Dusseldorf than they did against Slovakia last weekend.

Bellingham turned in a better display and got the better of several Swiss players in the opening 45 minutes.

And he drew the ire of one Switzerland fan when he brilliantly won a free kick from Newcastle defender Fabian Schar.

The furious fan mocked the Real Madrid man by pretending to bawl his eyes out.

The hilarious act spread like wildfire on social media and received a slew of comments.

England fans belt out Three Lions at Boxpark Wembley ahead of quarter final clash with Switzerland

One wrote: “The Swiss fan is right.”

And another said: “Never a foul.”

Despite their first-half domination, the Three Lions failed to breach the Switzerland defence.

England looked to be heading out when Breel Embolo fired the Swiss ahead in the 75th minute.

But Bukayo Saka levelled the scores a mere five minutes later with a stunning finish from outside the box.

Southgate’s charges were nervy in extra time and had to thank the post for keeping them in the tournament when Xherdan Shaqiri tried to catch Jordan Pickford out from a corner.

And the Everton stopper proved to be the hero in the shootout, saving Manuel Akanji’s penalty as the young Lions exorcised the ghosts of the 2020 final.
