The club confirmed in a statement that Xavi has been relieved of his duties and will leave the Nou Camp after Sunday’s final match of the season against Sevilla.

Meanwhile, Fabrizio Romano reports that Hansi Flick is set to be confirmed as the club’s new head coach next week.

The German has signed a two-year deal and will bring in two of his compatriots as part of his coaching staff.

Former Bayern Munich boss Flick has been out of work since leaving his role as Germany manager in September.
