A PREMIER LEAGUE ball boy was left in tears as an advertising board collapsed on him during a goal celebration.
Tomas Soucek was celebrating West Ham’s opening goal against Crystal Palace when the incident occurred.
Soucek had gone to celebrate in front of the away end stand when the board fell forwards and on to the ball boy.
But the midfielder put his celebrations on hold to help the ball boy get out from under the board.
Commentator Glenn Murray noted how Soucek had “rushed to his rescue”.
Hammers stars Jarrod Bowen and Max Kilman helped lift the boy from under the board before putting an arm around him.
