Aston Villa vs Manchester United preview
Aston Villa looked a particularly tough ground to visit – certainly until recently anyway.
That fear factor has been somewhat smashed in the past fortnight with Newcastle and Chelsea coming away with resounding 3-1 wins.
The latter of which coming in midweek as the Blues stormed into the fifth round of the FA Cup with a comfortable success.
Villa go into the weekend in fourth spot, five points behind leaders Liverpool but just two points ahead of Spurs in fifth.
Should they win this game, they’ll stretch their lead over Manchester United – who sit sixth as things stand – to a huge 11 points.
Lose, however, and it’s just the five points to Erik ten Hag’s side.
United have won four and drawn one of their last five games, scoring 11 goals in their last three outings along the way too.
Last week’s clean sheet in the win over West Ham would’ve pleased Ten Hag immensely and they now look a threat across the pitch with key players having returned.

Away win
Looking at the current form of the two sides, I just can’t look away from the Villa horror show in midweek.
The midfield was all over the place with no pressure on the ball as Chelsea – who’d been battered in successive games prior – walked through at ease and could’ve been further ahead at the break.
United look sharp in transition and carry a big threat at the top end of the park.
Villa still have enough individuals to hurt United but the away side need to win and we reckon they just might.

Nacho time
There’s a whole bunch of individual bets for Alejandro Garnacho that catch they eye.
Two goals last weekend, he’ll be full of confidence and will be up against Alex Moreno on the United right, who had a desperately tough night against Noni Madueke in midweek.
