ASTON VILLA were forced into a late change ahead of their match against Manchester City.
Emiliano Martinez was named in the starting XI but was forced to withdraw due to illness.
The Argentine goalkeeper was replaced by Robin Olsen for the clash against Man City at the Etihad Stadium.
A club statement was posted on social media confirming the last-minute change.
It read: “Robin Olsen will start in goal for Aston Villa. Emi Martínez misses out through illness.”
Villa fans were in shock on social media as they reacted to the news.

A fifth pleaded: “It’s a bit late for April Fools guys.”
Another added: “Looking more and more like a write-off this match.”
Man City had their own shock changes as both Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland were dropped to the bench.
Martinez has been a mainstay for Villa this season, having featured in 30 Premier League fixtures.
Olsen, however, has only played in one game, which was the 3-1 win over Burnley back in August.
The Swede has also appeared in the Conference League and League Cup this season.
Fans fears his involvement could prove costly were proven, with Man City winning 4-1.
