ARSENAL are set to lose Fortnite-playing teenage talent Reuell Walters, according to reports.
The 19-year-old defender was seemingly on the brink of making his first-team debut last season after featuring in several matchday squads.
A first-team appearance for Mikel Arteta’s troops, however, has yet to materialise for Walters – who is reportedly on his way out of the North London club.
That’s according to The Athletic, who claim the teenager has snubbed the Gunners’ offer of a new deal.
Walters’ current contract with the Premier League giants is set to expire at the end of the season.
It’s claimed he rejected fresh terms with the club as he didn’t deem prolonging his stay the “right next step for his development”.

If Walters has indeed snubbed a new contract and has left by mutual consent, potential suitors won’t have to stump up a training compensation fee.
Arsenal will, however, have the option to request a fee should he opt to join an English team.
Several clubs in England are said to be interested in acquiring his services, as well as teams in Germany, Italy and Spain.
Walters, however, won’t be permitted to talk to English clubs until May 18 at the earliest.

Former Manchester United academy star Walters is an avid gamer – with Fortnite being one of his favourites.
And in November 2019, the youngster got an email from the game’s creators to say he’d made £16 for his RJW’s BoxPVP map.
Dad Raphael told The Athletic: “He said ‘I just made $20 for my map.’
“People are in my map and when they buy stuff with their V-Bucks, I get a commission, so I made $20.'”
The map has proven to be a popular one, with a staggering 250 million people downloading it.
And all the downloads led to Walters earning a cool £10,000 a night for a week straight.
