Arsenal vs Liverpool preview
It’s the game of the weekend in England’s top flight and hosts Arsenal know defeat is out of the question.
They recorded back-to-back wins for the first time since the beginning of December when beating Nottingham Forest in midweek.
Their main issue? It’s still glaringly obvious that they’re short an out-and-out number nine who’s going to score regularly.
It was the same when these sides met here in the FA Cup last month, when ruthless Liverpool had minimal chances yet ran out 2-0 winners.
They’ve been equally as ruthless in recent games too – scoring 14 in their last four – and can continue that here to take the win.
The Reds are six clear going into the Premier League weekend and can open up a nine-point advantage on Arsenal should they leave North London with three points.

Arsenal vs Liverpool betting tips
Away win
Liverpool’s form has been stellar and they can put down another serious marker here.
Despite a proven goal scorer in Arsenal’s side, they’ll still create chances and Liverpool haven’t kept many clean sheets recently.
- Liverpool to win and BTTS at 15/4 with Ladbrokes – CLAIM HERE
Dio-GO for it
In Diogo Jota, Liverpool have a forward in scoring form.
He has four goals in his last four games and eight goals in his 16 appearances.
There will be opportunities going forward and he’s going to make the keeper work at the very least.
- Diogo Jota 2+ shots on target at 10/3 with Paddy Power – CLAIM HERE
Yellow warning
Gabriel Jesus’ goal in midweek ended his four game run without a goal.
But he also picked up another booking, which was his second in four games.
Will have a tough task as the lone striker against a big, strong Liverpool centre half pairing and he could be feeding on scraps. Likely to become frustrated.
- Gabriel Jesus to be booked at 13/5 with Paddy Power – CLAIM HERE
