ARSENAL fans began their St Totteringham’s Day celebrations early as they forced a first half capitulation at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The Gunners took a 3-0 lead over their north London rivals after just 38 minutes – near enough cementing that they would finish above Spurs this season.
Arsenal fans were just as quick to celebrate as their team were to take a dominant lead with champagne on the ready for St Totteringham’s Day.
St Totteringham’s Day is the fictional holiday celebrated by Arsenal fans when they secure a league finish above rivals Tottenham.
And a victory for Mikel Arteta’s side means they now go 20 POINTS clear of Tottenham with Ange Postecoglou and Co only having 15 points left to play for in their remaining five games.
Arsenal fans felt the game was over before the second half had even kicked off and took to social media to congratulate their team on cementing a second consecutive finish above their rivals.

The Gunners didn’t have anything wrapped up until the final whistle blew and they certainly had a wobble that could have changed things.
It was an own goal from Pierre-Emile Hojburg that opened the scoring for Arsenal before Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz added insult to Tottenham injury.
But a second half blunder from David Raya gifted Spurs a way back into the game, before Son Heung-Min netted a penalty after Declan Rice clumsily brought down Ben Davies in the area.
Ultimately Arsenal held on to win the game 3-2 and their fans were able to celebrate a second St Totteringham’s Day.
The Gunners also secures Champions League football for next season as a result of yesterday’s Premier League results before they even kicked a ball this afternoon.
