ALEX SCOTT was all smiles as she prepared for, potentially, the greatest challenge of her life.
The BBC Sport presenter, 39, shared snaps training on skis as she embarks on a charity mission.
Scott is set to brave the freezing temperatures to trek across the Arctic for Comic Relief.
She will be joined by Sara Davies, Vicky Pattison and Laura Whitmore for Snow Going Back: Comic Relief Vs The Arctic.
They are set to start their endurance test at the edge of the Arctic Circle in Tromso, Norway.
It will take four days to trek, cross-country ski, and cycle to a finish a line some 50km away.

The group will be confronted with minus 20C temperatures and will have just eight hours of daylight as they make their way through the polar region.
Scott and the rest of the crew will be required to pitch their own tents and survive on food rations in the gruelling test.
On Sunday, the Football Focus host took to Instagram to share some photos.
In one she can be seen hitting the deck, as she laughs off her fall.

While in others, she shows off her team and training they have been doing so far, including skiing and cycling.
She captioned the photos: “Posted pictures of us smiling in training because I’m not sure how many there will be over the coming days 🥶🥶
“Training all complete… #snowgoingbacknow.”
Scott added: “A four-day endurance challenge taking on the unforgiving landscape of the Arctic to raise vital funds all for @ComicRelief.
“It’s going to be tough, long and very very cold but as one team we’re determined to raise as much money as we can to help try to tackle poverty and injustice around the world.
“Please donate if you can to… comicrelief.com/alex.
“Thank you 🙏🏾”
Scott’s girlfriend Jess Glynne posted a comment that read: “You 🖤”
The journey will be captured by a BBC film crew and shown as a documentary before Red Nose Day on March 15.
