TYSON FURY left a reporter stunned with his chilling threat to inflict “serious hurt” on Oleksandr Usyk in their rematch.

The Gypsy King cut a mean look at Wednesday’s open workouts just days before his crucial bout with Usyk.

Fury got gloved up ready to hit the pads with trainer Sugarhill Steward – before deciding against it.

Reporter Claudia Trejos asked Fury: “What other surprises do we have for Saturday?”

And Fury replied: “A lot of pain.”

A gobsmacked Trejos responded with “wow” before Fury added: “Smash and damage.”

Fury, 36, then promised: “A lot of hurt. Hurt, serious hurt.”

The British legend was beaten for the first time in his career in May after losing a split-decision.

Usyk, 37, became the first four-belt undisputed champion in heavyweight history but vacated the IBF title to take the rematch.

Fury refused to give anything away by forgoing the usual public session – but head trainer Steward said: “It was a little workout.

“We gave it our best. Tyson Fury is just ready right now, along with myself.

“He’s always had like a silly demeanour and [been] playing around, but this is a different side of him.

“He’s just ready, 100 per cent ready. It’s how we normally train [aggressively]…

“I was taught by Emmanuel Steward – and pain, hurting people and knockouts are always written on the walls of the Kronk Gym.

“The harder you work, the bigger the reward. The sacrifice. Everything that is boxing, that is what he is bringing forward on Saturday.

“That is what his mind is geared into.”
