FABIO WARDLEY and Frazer Clarke’s British title fight faced the KO when the RING was stolen from a van – but the show thankfully goes on.
The heavyweight rivals collide in a brilliant bout for the Lonsdale belt at the O2 Arena on Easter Sunday.
And like is the case for all top fights in the UK, Mike Goodall’s Ringcraft company will put together the ring for the fight.
But Goodall revealed on social media that one of his vans that contained half the ring was stolen in the middle of the night.
He posted: “Identical sprinter to this stolen early hours of this morning 30/3/24 from hotel car park Canning Town area London …..contains half a boxing ring for Sunday nights Sky Boxing show Reward for Return.”
Fortunately, the canvas or rope cover – which includes specific Boxxer and sponsored printing on it – were in another van.

Goodall’s expert and experienced team were able to get back to their Evesham HQ to replace the accessories that were stolen.
It means the show goes on.
A spokesperson for BOXXER said: “It’s going to take more than a stolen van to put a stop to Sunday’s mega event.
“It’s a fight night that’s got the whole country talking. We’re expecting to have a packed out crowd at The O2.

“The thieves are probably disappointed there were no tickets left in the van.”
At the time of writing, Goodall’s post has been viewed nearly 60,000 times and the word has been spread to get his van recovered.
Wardley defends his British title against Clarke after years of talk and the O2 Arena is set to be packed with fight fans.
The card also features Ben Whitaker vs Leon Willings and Viddal Riley against Mikael Lawal, amongst others.
