After her win against Tasha she said she was offered more fights.

Carla told SunSport: “I’m putting in the work like everyone else to get into that position. It’s really hard.

“It’s funny because I know I am not that well known.

“But as soon as I won my last fight all these random girls started offering me out.

“The best one was I had one girl wait outside my hotel room, screaming she wanted to fight me.

“I didn’t think it would be that easy to get another opponent or this fun!”

Fighting Nikki Hru

In the lead-up to her Misfits Boxing lightweight title fight against Nikki Hru, Carla was vocal about her confidence and disrespect for her opponent.

Carla made it clear that she did not rate her boxing skills, referring to her as an “annoying actress” and expressing that she felt Nikki was overhyped.

She believed that Nikki’s background in acting did not translate into effective boxing abilities and predicted a decisive victory for herself.

Carla told the SunSport: “I just don’t see that she’s a good fighter.

“I’m from real boxing, I’ve seen real boxers, and I just… she’s an actress, and she looks angry and plays the part but I think people are buying into her hype.

“In terms of her actual boxing skills and even the cardio, I mean… there are so many things that are not there for her.

“No disrespect, but she is not going to known what has hit her.”

When the fight took place at the MF & DAZN X Series 18 event on Saturday, September 14, 2024, her pre-fight predictions were held.

She decisively won the lightweight title with the judges scored the bout 49-46, 49-46 and 48-47.
