BOXER Louis Greene scored a stunning first-round knockout against Jack McGann – and won his brother a pretty penny in the process.
Greene came into the bout having lost just once in his last five, a thriller against Sam Gilley.
But still McGann – who entered the ring unbeaten in ten bouts – was the betting favourite in Saudi Arabia.
Although Greene cared little as a right hook in the first round landed on the money for Greene and left McGann out for the count.
And he revealed his brother capitalised on his underdog status with a cheeky punt on a first-round KO.
He said: “I knew I was going to do it, I was confident all week.
“I’m not a betting man, my brother just won a couple of grand on me because he bet this round!”
Greene, 31, revealed he left his day job digging holes and fitting water mains to focus on training full time for the fight of his life.
He said: “I train hard, I gave up work for this. I jump from job to job to fit around providing for my kids and being able to fight for a living.
“And for this one I gave up work completely to come here and put on a show.”
