Ngannou, 37, walked out on the UFC to pursue a lucrative switch to boxing while signing for the Professional Fighters League.

He faced Tyson Fury in his ring debut and sensationally dropped the ex-world champion before losing a controversial decision.

Ngannou then faced Anthony Joshua in March but was brutally knocked out in two rounds.
