Footage emerges of John Fury getting KO’d TWICE in boxing career after claiming ‘we can’t be beat’ in headbutt storm

FOOTAGE has emerged of John Fury being knocked out TWICE after his “we can’t be beat” claims amid his headbutt shame.

The 59-year-old’s Gypsy King son Tyson will take on Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed heavyweight crown in Saudi Arabia on Saturday night.

However, it was the WBC champion’s father who has dominated the build-up after he HEADBUTTED Stanislav Stepchuk – a member of the Usyk team – earlier this week in the build-up to the fight.

John, who was left with a bloodied forehead, was then screaming in the resulting melee: “We can’t be beat! We can’t be beat!”

While his boy Tyson, 35, and even one of his younger sons Tommy Fury remain unbeaten, some fans are only just now realising that John has actually been floored before.

He is a former boxer and bareknuckle fighter whose pro career spanned eight years and 13 bouts.

John made his debut in 1987, losing to rugby league player Adam Fogerty, but went on to win his next six fights until a draw with David Hopkins in Helsinki on February 13, 1989.

He rebounded with wins against Michael Murray, a future British title challenger, and Cesare Di Benedetto, a future Italian title challenger.

That led to him being rewarded with a shot at the vacant Central Area title against Neil Malpass, only for him to lose on points.

However, his career came to an end after two crushing setbacks left him out for the count.

He first suffered a third round KO loss against future WBO champion Henry Akinwande that led to a four-year absence from boxing.

John then returned to the ring in 1995 but he was brutally KO’d in the fourth round by Steve Garber in Manchester.

It did not take fans long to respond, with one saying: “Explains why he picks on the little guys now!!”

Another wrote: “In John’s memory he won these fights.”

A third commented: “I thought a warrior got back up.”

While a fourth added: “Best thing I’ve ever seen on the Internet.”

Inside the ring wasn’t the only place where John was trading blows with opponents.

He claims to have had “more than 100” fights in total during his life and insisted he had “never lost outside the ring”.

That included a bare-knuckle fight for which he was paid a whopping £100,000.

Meanwhile, John broke his silence over the headbutting incident and tried to justify it by insisting “I’m a warrior, that’s what we do”.

He said: “[They] disrespected my son, the best heavyweight to ever wear a pair of boxing gloves.

“Coming out with all that rubbish. He’s in my face, trying to be clever.

“Coming into my space, ‘Usyk, Usyk’, nobody’s bothering with them. I was only chanting my own son’s name.

“They stepped closer, stepped closer. So I’m a warrior at the end of the day, that’s what we do.

“We’re fighting people, you come in the space, you’re gonna get what’s coming.”

But that led to Usyk warning Fury and his dad John that his secret army of gun-and-knife trained soldiers will not stand for another assault.

However, Tyson looked completely unconcerned by that threat.

The Gypsy King rocked up to the Grand Arrivals event last night with a “new style” that left fans claiming that he looked like a cross between Boy George and WWE legend The Undertaker.
