Last season, the Welsh side pipped Notts County to the National League title and automatic promotion to League Two by four points.

The two runaway sides formed a bitter rivalry during the campaign and Disney chiefs reached out to a Magpies fan group to ask if they would like to feature in an episode of the doc.

The supporters declined in X-rated fashion to leave Reynolds and McElhenney in stitches.

They explained: “The producers sent the sweetest, ‘Hey we would like to interview Notts, you guys are having an amazing season.’

“And the response is so good. It’s so great.

“‘No you can shove your s*** documentary up your a***.'”

McElhenney took it well and while giggling, he exclaimed: “I loved it.”

Fans of both clubs also found it brilliant, one said: “Class that.”

Another added: “Whoever penned that reply should gain immediate entry to the Notts Hall of Fame.”

A third laughed: “My respect for Notts County has just risen exponentially.”

Wrexham ended up having the last laugh as they won the title, but Notts County also secured promotion via the play-offs.

The two sides are set to meet in League Two on October 28.
