AHMET EYUP TURKASLAN has tragically been pronounced dead after his body was found under the rubble following the huge Turkey earthquake.
The country had been struck with an enormous 7.8 magnitude earthquake causing harm to many of people.
And Turkish footballer Ahmet Eyup Turkaslan was sadly a victim to this tragic incident.
Who was Ahmet Eyup Turkaslan?
Born September 11, 1994, Turkaslan began his senior career with Turkish side Bugsasspor in 2013.
However, the Turkish goalkeeper had a short loan spell at Osmanlispor in 2016 where he made his professional debut.
After a successful stint with his loan club, Turkaslan put pen to paper and stayed at Osmanlispor for another three seasons before moving to Umraniyespor in 2020.
Ahmet then signed a contract with Yeni Malatyaspor a year later.

How did Ahmet Eyup Turkaslan die?
Ahmet, 28, was reported to be trapped under a collapsed residential building on Monday, February 6 after a huge earthquake had hit Turkey.
There were claims that he had died once announced that he was missing but the president of Yeni Malatyaspor Haci Ahmet Yaman denied those accusations.
Turkaslan’s wife was rescued from the rubble and asked for social media to help find her husband.
However, Ahmet’s body was tragically recovered on Tuesday, February 7 under the remains of a building.

What has been said?
On Tuesday, his club – Yeni Malatyaspor – revealed: “Sorry for your loss.
“Our goalkeeper, Ahmet Eyup Turkaslan, lost his life after being under the collapse of the earthquake.
“Rest in peace. We will not forget you, beautiful person.”
Ex-team-mate Moussa Sow led the tributes, as he tweeted: “You were a good guy super nice respectful happy to have been able to know you.”
