Dani Alves is the most successful footballer of all time in terms of the amount of trophies won.

The Brazilian sits top with 44 trophies in his career and he is still playing at the age of 39.

Unfortunately, he could not add the 2022 World Cup to his collection, instead Messi got this to close the gap to three in second.

However, in third place is a player that not many will have heard of – Hossam Ashour, with 39 trophies in his career.

He has won  13 Egyptian Premier League titles, four Egypt Cups, six CAF Champions League trophies, and no less than 10 Egyptian Super Cups. A true legend of the game.
