WEST HAM are reportedly interested in signing Marseille midfielder Matteo Guendouzi.
The Hammers are set to lose Declan Rice this summer, with Arsenal understood to be leading the race for the 24-year-old.
And according to The Athletic, David Moyes and his team have set their sights on former Gunner Guendouzi as the midfielder’s potential replacement.
The Frenchman spent four years with Arsenal after joining from FC Lorient in 2018.
He scored once in 82 appearances before leaving North London to join Marseille on a permanent transfer last summer.
Guendouzi has registered five goals and five assists in 40 appearances for the Ligue 1 giants so far this season.

And his fine form has attracted interest from multiple Premier League clubs.
Aston Villa are also understood to be considering a swoop for Guendouzi.
Villa boss Unai Emery, who signed Guendouzi when he became manager of Arsenal in 2018, is eager to reunite with the midfielder.
Marseille have already lined up a replacement for the Frenchman, who is expected to leave when the summer transfer window opens.
